This Privacy Policy explains how Ibrahim Sharaf, operating under the brand name ImSharaf Studios (“ImSharaf Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Temp&Note application for iPhone and iPad (“Temp&Note” or the “App”) and the Temp&Note legal and support website (“Website”).
Temp&Note is designed to operate primarily on your device. It does not require an account. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your notes, checklists, tables, calculator entries, PDF attachments, photographs, or other note content. We do not sell personal information, show third-party advertisements, or track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Information you voluntarily send to us for support, legal, security, or feedback purposes may be received and processed by us as described below.
1.1 Notes and App Content
Temp&Note may process the following information on your device:
This information is intended to remain locally on your device. It is not intentionally transmitted to a server operated by ImSharaf Studios.
Because this information remains on your device, we ordinarily cannot view, retrieve, restore, or delete it for you.
1.2 Camera and Photos
Temp&Note may request camera access so you can take photographs for insertion into notes. It may also request access to selected photographs or your photo library so you can attach images to notes.
The App processes selected or captured images on your device. Temp&Note does not intentionally upload those images to us.
You control camera and photo access through the privacy settings on your iPhone or iPad. Apple may allow you to grant full, limited, or selected-photo access depending on your device and operating-system version.
Deleting a photo attachment from Temp&Note does not necessarily delete the original image from the Photos app, iCloud Photos, the Files app, another application, a shared album, or a device backup.
1.3 PDF Documents and Files
Temp&Note may allow you to choose, import, attach, store, or display PDF files through Apple’s file-selection interfaces.
PDF documents selected for use in Temp&Note are intended to be processed locally on your device and are not intentionally transmitted to us.
Deleting an attached PDF from Temp&Note does not necessarily delete the original PDF from the Files app, iCloud Drive, email, another application, an external storage provider, or a backup.
1.4 Biometrics and Device Authentication
Temp&Note may use Face ID, Touch ID, or device authentication to protect access to the App or selected content.
Apple and your device process biometric information. Temp&Note does not receive or store your facial image, fingerprint template, or biometric enrollment data. The App generally receives only an authentication result, such as success, failure, or cancellation.
1.5 Widgets, Live Activities, Lock Screen, and Dynamic Island
Temp&Note may display selected note information through Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities, notifications, or the Dynamic Island on supported devices.
This information is processed through Apple’s operating-system features and may be visible outside the main App, including while your device is locked. You are responsible for selecting what information appears and for managing Lock Screen, notification, widget, and Live Activity privacy settings.
Displayed information may temporarily remain cached or visible after a note changes, expires, enters Recently Deleted, or is permanently deleted.
1.6 Notifications
Temp&Note may request permission to send local notifications concerning note expiration, reminders, or App activity.
Notification permission and presentation settings are controlled through your device. Notification content may be visible on the Lock Screen depending on your settings.
Temp&Note does not currently use a developer-operated server to send personalized remote push notifications.
1.7 App Preferences and Local Acceptance Records
Temp&Note may store settings locally, such as selected preferences, whether an introductory screen has been completed, and the version of the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy acknowledged on the device.
These local records are intended to remain on your device and are not intentionally transmitted to us.
Temp&Note currently offers expiration choices that may include:
When an expiration time is processed, the note is designed to move to Recently Deleted.
Notes in Recently Deleted are designed to remain recoverable for up to fourteen days unless you restore or permanently delete them sooner. Associated copies of photos and PDFs stored within Temp&Note are intended to follow the deletion status of the related note.
Automatic expiration and deletion may be delayed by operating-system restrictions, background-processing limits, device shutdown, Low Power Mode, storage issues, software errors, date or time changes, or other circumstances.
Permanent deletion from Temp&Note does not guarantee forensic erasure of every copy. Information may remain in screenshots, notification previews, widget snapshots, Live Activity snapshots, operating-system caches, original files, photo libraries, synchronized services, or device backups outside our control.
Temp&Note does not currently provide CloudKit note synchronization or a developer-operated backup service.
However, locally stored App data may be included in an iCloud device backup or a computer backup depending on Apple’s operating-system behavior, the App’s technical configuration, your settings, and available storage.
Apple, not ImSharaf Studios, operates iCloud Backup and related services. We do not receive access to your Apple Account or iCloud backups.
You are responsible for managing your backup settings. We do not guarantee that Temp&Note data will be included in, excluded from, successfully restored from, or permanently removed from a backup.
When you contact us by email, telephone, a support page, or another communication method, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as:

The current version of Temp&Note:
Apple may process App Store, purchase, crash, diagnostic, device, or usage information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. Depending on Apple settings and developer tools, Apple may provide developers with technical, aggregated, or diagnostic information. We do not intentionally use such information to identify or track individual users, and it is not intended to include the content of your notes.
We use information that we receive directly from you only as reasonably necessary to:

Service Providers. We may use service providers such as email, website-hosting, or technical-support providers that process information for us.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, court orders, valid government requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Business Transfer. If Temp&Note or ImSharaf Studios is transferred to a future company, including a future ImSharaf Studios LLC, information and responsibilities associated with support and legal records may transfer to the successor, subject to applicable law.
With Your Direction. We may share information when you ask or authorize us to do so.
We do not sell your personal information.
The Temp&Note Website may be hosted through GitHub Pages or another hosting provider. The hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security logs under its own privacy terms.
The Website is intended to be informational and does not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or analytics tools. If this changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
App Content. Notes, attachments, and settings remain on your device until deleted, expired, removed through App behavior, lost through device or software events, or removed when the App is uninstalled or its data is erased.
Recently Deleted. Deleted or expired notes are designed to remain recoverable for up to fourteen days unless permanently deleted sooner.
Backups. Backup retention is controlled by Apple, your backup provider, and your settings.
Support Records. We generally retain support, legal, and security communications for up to twenty-four months after the last communication, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or establishing and defending legal claims.
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information we receive. However, no device, application, email system, storage system, authentication system, or internet transmission is completely secure.
You are responsible for securing your device, device passcode, Apple Account, biometric enrollment, backups, notifications, widgets, and Live Activities.
We cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, accessed without authorization, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information we hold about you, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.

California and Other U.S. States. We do not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use personal information for targeted advertising.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. For support information, Ibrahim Sharaf is the data controller. Depending on the situation, processing may be based on your consent, steps taken at your request, legitimate interests in supporting and securing Temp&Note, or compliance with legal obligations. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate, subject to available legal safeguards.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Temp&Note does not require an account and does not intentionally collect note content through a developer-operated server.
We do not knowingly use the App to collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling. Parents and guardians should supervise a child’s use of Temp&Note, control device permissions and purchases, and contact support on the child’s behalf.
If you believe a child sent personal information to us through support without appropriate permission, contact us and we will review the request.
Temp&Note may be available in multiple countries. Support information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy protections may differ between countries.
Where applicable law grants rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain in effect.
Temp&Note may interact with Apple services such as the App Store, iOS, iPadOS, the Files app, Photos, camera frameworks, Face ID, Touch ID, notifications, widgets, Live Activities, Dynamic Island, PDF-rendering frameworks, and iCloud Backup.
Those services are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party privacy or security practices.
Future versions may add features such as optional iCloud or CloudKit synchronization, accounts, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting, sharing, or server-based services.
We will update this Privacy Policy and applicable App Store privacy disclosures before or when materially different data practices are introduced.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect App changes, legal requirements, security practices, or business changes.
The “Last Updated” date will identify the newest version. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
